So I think that “Canada” (I like to pretend it’s an imaginary concept and this is supported by only very vague references to “Canada” in American history textbooks (ironically speaking here) is in the greatest danger of all from the United States. All those amazing and needed natural resources just sitting there for the taking! And they aren’t doing anything to prepare to defend them! It’s only a matter of time before we (U.S.) realize that really, it wouldn’t be so difficult to just declare them ours rather than go through all the really time intensive chats required if you want to do things diplomatically. And it’s not like the American public will be up in arms if we march on over and take them. As long as we have our giant SUVs and our big screen TVs etc., we aren’t going to worry too much about getting off our couches and voting. Certainly we aren’t going to vote against the perpetuation of our lazy and content existence 🙂

Just a thought: Many moons ago, Canada invaded America and we could do nothing to stop them. They got as far as D.C. (if I remember rightly) and changed their minds. We didn’t *win*, they decided to go home. They politely left the American Nation to build itself.

      🙂

Just wanted to say I commend you for your approach, and willingness to communicate and relate to people. As I mentioned in another post here, if we ignore the community aspect, economics are virtually meaningless … so well done, and I wish you every success in your goals! =D

I love the stuff you have on your blog it’s so interesting but I have a curious question – how do you work out the value of your blog, as you’ve done here? I really like that.
